The general assembly of the United Nations hasdeclared 2016 as the year of the pulse. We decided we are going to join the UN (well at least in their idea for the year). There are two definitions of pulse…”1) a rhythmical throbbing of the arteries as blood is propelled through them, typically as felt in the wrists or neck. 2) a single vibration or short burst of sound, electric current, light, or other wave.“ Our goal is tosend a “short burst of current”, otherwise known as excitement, into your quilting life.
We are offering classes for the beginning quilter as well as some classes for those that would like a little challenge. We have sew days and get togethers of some kind every single week. As we start this new year we would like to invite you to join us on Thursday Mornings at 10:00 for quilt club. You do
not need to bring your machine or supplies. We have a pattern or some kind of quilting tip for you each week. But more importantly, it is a time to fellowship with other quilters. The meeting is only an hour to an hour and a half depending on how much show and tell we have and you will not find a better group of ladies around. :-) You can read more about this club on the “Clubs and Constants” page in this newsletter.
We are excited to welcome back Lynn Wilder, Robin Koenig and Victoria Johnson with some great classes. Debi has several wonderful mystery classes and
we have even twisted her arm into teaching Glorious Patchwork again. If you missed it before you will want to take it this time. Janice and Deanna each have three beauties and Ann will be doing an oldie but a goodie for sure. Ursula will be offering her always popular machine quilting and if you have not taken Barb’s strips and curves you will get your chance. This is just on top of all of our other wonderful clubs.
We want to once again thank you for your support. We are well aware you have options when it comes to buying your fabric and supplies and we truly are
grateful that you not only shop with us, but come in and take classes and just spend time at our store.
We would like to wish you a wonderful and
Sew Long for Now...
